'The Boats at Collioure'. Collioure, one of my favourite places to visit (out of season). If you've never been to Collioure then put it on your bucket list. A favourite with many artists, its particularly known for the Fauvists movement. However, other famous artsits spent time there too, including Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Raoul Dufy and Rennie Mackintosh. So, I am in good company.

Its difficult not to be affected by the colours of Collioure, the houses, the boats, the mediterranean sea. I enjoyed composing my own interpretation which includes the 17th Century Bell Tower of Notre-Dame-des-Anges Church and boats which hint at a throw back to Andre Derain's colourful works.
