'Tea by the Sea'. This piece was one of my earliest collages in France. Its not difficult to be inspired by Nice or Collioure! This gouache collage conjures up the English afternoon cup of tea whilst admiring the sea view! Using the striking Mediterranean colours to evoke and capture that wonderful 'light' of the south of France.
